What are lumens?

In simple terms, Lumens (denoted by lm) are a measure of the total amount of visible light (to the human eye) from a lamp or light source. The higher the lumen rating the “brighter” the bulb will appear.

Why won't my flashlight turn on?

The batteries need to be activated. Simply unscrew the top of the flashlight and remove the circle tab to activate the batteries. This is a safety feature designed to preserve the battery life.
